leaving family estate to American physician Robert Blackett.
Estate staff reports Peter appearing pale and sickly
for nearly a full year before death.
Peter had been a severe alcoholic for 7 years following the death
of his father and sister.
Dr. Robert Blackett and his daughter Margaret had been living
in Mostyn House for three years.
Estate staff reports no conflicts between them.
Unsubstantiated rumors of an intimate relationship between Peter and Margaret.

The autopsy has ruled Peter's death as alcoholic cardiomyopathy,
although the performing doctor notes some irregularities.
The transfer of Mostyn House to Robert Blackett following
Peter Mostyn's untimely death is suspicious.
However, given all of Peter's immediate family is deceased,
it is not so unusual as to be implausible.
It is this officer's opinion that this investigation should
be closed.
